The debuff animation took me by storm. How can you not love someone taking a dump in their pants when getting beaten upon?

And size really does matter. It’s very much possible to hide and heal as long as you keep the zappin’ to a minimum. DoTs and HoTs for me.

I have also fallen in love with the shaman. I was hoping you could discuss targeting during RvR and scenarios for healing. I’m having a tough time trying to target the right person at the right time. I’m looking forward to many articles to come!

Well I got my Shaman rolling last night and had a good time. The greenies are hilarious so far and their starting area is probably the best I have played in so far. The map is a little confusing due to the rolling hills and the scattered nature of gobbo camps but that so works. The whole area just reeks of gob and orc… And I mean reeks lol.

I can also report that shammy goodness is a load of fun in RvR. I was the number 2 healer for the forces of destruction at level 1 (kinda sad that) but I quickly motored thru and was really helping out by level 4. I can also vouch for the bush as a shaman-stand idea as hiding in a bush is really effective. In fact I stepped out of my bush once and three tanks came at me simultaneously… it would seem that we shamans are not well loved by the world of order.

Also the bush is best for hots and dots alone as I found out the hard way when my bush started spewing out red spell globs. Just a clue… most bushes native to the area do not spew out damage in and of themselves and the forces of order take umbrage with those bushes that do. They like to target said bushes and do very nasty things to them. Very.

Well I look forward to using the heal via damage spells, I got my first one as I was getting ready to sleep for the night. Got in my bush and dreamed of stunties turning grey and greenies living large… good times.

ooh… Good question Frak! That is not easy dang it. I would add onto that this request: Does a healing grid addon exsist for WAR like in WOW? I am a shaman over there as well (lol just a lil difference between a draenei and a gobbo) and I couldn’t heal near as well as I do without Grid and gridforhealers. Same for druid as well. And is there a program that will show all the RvR participants at once?

Nice first column! I’m thinking that my first alt will be a Shaman, so I’ll be keeping up to date with you.

Welcome to the site!

@ Frak and Choronzon:

I use Squared for my unit frames (http://war.curse.com/downloads/war-addons/details/squared.aspx) and IsHealBot (http://war.curse.com/downloads/war-addons/details/ishealbot.aspx) for click-to-cast support. I recently started leveling up a healer, and these mods help tremendously in hot RvR action.

Squared is da sheeot! I second its greatness. I have to check out this click-to-cast bidness now, thanks.
